Technology

Our engineering division creates smart inverters with modular battery storage and integrated high capacity EV charging.

Intelligence

Energy Reimagined

Stack is an innovative hybrid smart inverter with modular battery storage and high capacity charging for up to two electric vehicles. Homeowners can manage Stack's settings using a mobile device or tablet. Stack runs GridOS, a new operating system designed to manage energy for homes of the future. Stack features built in local dispatch and seamlessly integrates with Apollo's Bitcoin mining platform, Compute. With every system deployed, Stack saves customers money while helping them generate additional income and reducing strain on the grid.

Synchronize

Data Analysis

Stack analyzes data for energy supply and demand in real-time. This information is collected by our software division's new data exchange for utilities and grid operators. Partner entities that provide data via Apollo's utility sync exchange are able to incentivize customers within their respective grid sectors to dispatch power to balance supply and demand. This load leveling capability helps utilities and grid operators more efficiently manage load, soaking up excess capacity during the day and releasing power in the evening for duck curve mitigation.

Software

Intelligent Grid

GridOS is the operating system for our new smart inverter, Stack. GridOS provides the firmware and software that brings Stack's hardware to life. This tight integration of hardware and software enables features like Stack's smart dispatch capabilities. GridOS also provides applications like Compute, which enables households to use excess generation and storage capacity from their system to mine Bitcoin. With a mobile device or tablet, users can easily manage all of Stack's settings, including high capacity EV charging and whole home battery backup.

Electrification

Smart Economics

Our solar and battery storage systems are designed to provide customers long-term savings, but the savings are only half the equation. Compute is how we help our customers use their systems to generate additional income — and how we show appreciation for Apollo's utility partners. These partnerships enable us to utilize existing infrastructure to generate additional income for all parties involved. We provide the specialized containers, you provide the electricity, and utilities provide the infrastructure. Together, we mine Bitcoin powered completely by the sun.

Mission

Our goal is to deploy more than 10 million systems over the next decade, helping customers achieve energy independence and bolstering our nation's grid.
